    She was the daughter of a enormously rich and powerful  praetorian perfect Plautianus, Fulvia Plautilla was married to Caracalla in 202 AD, she brought with her  a huge dowry, she was extremely haughty and was soon hated by her cruel husband. It was at his instigation, on the fall of her father in 205, that he banished her to Lipari, were she languished there miserably till after her death of Septimius, when she was assassinated on the orders of her husband.
